Since time immemorial "our home", a building dating back to 1450, was used to host the pilgrims on the way to Rome.
Situated along the ancient "Nonantolana Romea Road", it was an ideal place to rest for all the travellers.
In 1800 it was bought by the local medical officer of Pavullo who turned it into his residence. Then it was bought by M. Veduti, a valiant carabiniere colonel, who was decorated with the Gold Medal for Military Valour.
We bought it in 1995 and trasformed it into the existing Farmhouse Beneverchio.
The paths around the area , surrounded by an environment of extraordinary beauty, have been called by the Regione Emilia Romagna “paths of the light”.
Only by staying at Beneverchio you can breath in depth its particular atmosphere and taste our dishes which take root in the very old cooking.
